Why we exist

 

We exist to restore access, dignity, and belonging for working single-parent homes by gifting meaningful community experiences.  While these parents work endless hours to cover essentials, the cost of an outing (admissions, parking, transportation and extras) often makes family outings like the zoo, museum, theater, summer camp or community events unattainable.  As a result, many children grow up excluded from experiences that build memories, connection and a sense of place within their community.

We partner with local businesses and cultural institutions to provide fully covered family experiences - removing financial barriers so parents can simply show up and enjoy time with their children.   These moments are more than entertainment; they are opportunities for joy, confidence, and shared memories that affirm families belong in the community around them.

We go further by creating family-centered service opportunities where our parents and children give back together.  Through serving others, families build purpose, connection, and pride transforming gratitude for what they receive into gratitude expressed through giving. In doing so, we replace isolation with belong, survival with participation and strengthen family joy.
